With over a decade of experience leading projects around the country, Amy excels at managing large project teams and integrating complex programmatic goals into simple design solutions. Amy enjoys working with project teams to carry projects through all stages of design, including conceptual design, design documentation, construction detailing, and construction administration. She brings strong organizational and leadership skills to every project and is particularly interested in fostering clear design communication throughout all stages of design, both in written and graphic formats.
Amy holds a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington and has a previous academic background in Geology. Prior to entering graduate school for landscape architecture, Amy worked in community development and affordable housing. This varied set of experiences brings a balanced point of view to projects - one that considers the scientific and technical aspects, as well as the social and cultural implications of the project.
