Helen Pierson joins GGN with a background in architecture. She sees landscape architecture as an opportunity to apply the skills learned through the study and practice of architecture to the ongoing evolution of public spaces in cities. An interest in the roles of equity, accessibility, and resiliency in landscape architecture drew her to GGN.
A native New Yorker, Helen has been venturing ever westward since receiving her BA in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. She has enjoyed becoming familiar with Denver, San Francisco and most recently Seattle. When not exploring the city, she enjoys venturing into the nearby woods and mountains to hike and camp.
