Lauren Schmidt brings her expertise with Revit and BIM in landscape architecture to GGN. She believes that technology can enhance the design process, and she is always interested in finding more efficient methods and solutions.
A native of the Midwest, Lauren grew up in Kansas and discovered her love for landscape in the wide open plains of the Konza Prairie. Since graduating with a BLA from Ball State University, she has travelled extensively both in the United States and abroad. She spent several years in the Netherlands where she was invited to speak at the Dutch Dynamo User Group and presented at the European Revit Technology conference in Budapest. She writes about BIM and design computation on her blog, landarchbim.com.
