Meg’s design interests focus on the intersection of durability and resilience. This integrated viewpoint is a theme of her professional work, graduate studies in landscape and horticulture, and her undergraduate studies in history, ecology, and art. She strives to create places that are hospitable on a variety of scales for a variety of uses.
Meg’s broad professional experience includes project management and construction documentation and administration for large, urban and suburban projects in the eastern United States. At the residential scale her experience includes concept design, planting design, and detail work. With an extensive background as a perennials grower, horticulturist, and landscape contractor, Meg’s well rounded knowledge of landscape design and construction allows her to communicate equally well with clients, design team members, and contractors.
Meg received her Masters of Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech. She lives in Washington, DC, with her family.
