North End Parks

The North End Parks are built on three acres of new land over the tunnel roof, at the prime entry to one of downtown Boston’s densest neighborhood.

The Interstate-93 highway, previously an elevated structure, is now buried beneath the city. This has created a swath of reclaimed land through downtown, opening views and street connections that have been severed for decades.
