Tess Schiavone excels in collaborating with large project teams of landscape architects, architects, and engineers. She pushes projects forward with strong design clarity and simple, yet innovative solutions. She draws inspiration by realizing the conceptual design through drawing, study model, and construction detailing.
Tess' realized projects can be seen at the University of Washington Student Housing – Elm Hall, Alder Hall and Mercer Court – as well as several residential projects in the Seattle area.
Prior to joining GGN, Tess worked at OLIN on the design of Virginia Museum of Fine Art and construction oversight for Independence Mall in Philadelphia. Tess holds a BA in Fine Art from The College of William and Mary and a Master of Urban Design and a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis.
