Edyth Jostol

Edyth has just completed the first year of her MLA at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. In her first year she has become interested in the technical skills that landscape architects employ, the opportunities of designing with living materials and the potential it holds for ecological solutions. She is drawn to landscape architecture for its multidisciplinary nature, and potential for community building.

Edyth studied economics, mathematics and urban studies as an undergraduate at Vassar College. While a student she interned with the Dutchess County and the City of Poughkeepsie’s planning departments, working on bicycle and pedestrian plans, and as a volunteer at the Poughkeepsie Farm Project.
