Lynn (Fengling) Hu

Lynn Hu joins the studio with design and project management experience across a diverse range of residential, mixed-use, and public projects, where she has enjoyed collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to carry design visions from concept through execution. She believes in the power of landscape architecture to bring the natural world into everyday life and is drawn to spaces that connect people, nature, and place. This belief continues to guide her interest in landscapes that are durable and meaningful as a tool for fostering community.

Originally from China, Lynn grew up during a period of rapid urban transformation, shaping her appreciation for how cities, communities, and public spaces evolve together. Outside the studio, she enjoys exploring cities and neighborhoods on foot, finding inspiration in how different cultures shape public spaces and in the everyday moments where people gather, interact, and connect with their surroundings. Lynn holds an MLA degree from the University of Illinois and Urbana-Champaign.
