September 18, 2009 - Gustafson Guthrie Nichol partner Shannon Nichol and associate David Nelson gave a walking tour of the Lurie Garden during the ASLA Annual Meeting. They were joined by Colleen Lockovitch, the Lurie Garden Horticulturalist, and Roy Diblik of Northwind Perennial Farm. Together this team spoke about the Lurie Garden design, construction, plant procurement, maintenance, and programming. Also representing GGN at the annual meeting were Emily Pizzuto who sat on the Landscape Architecture Magazine advertising awards jury, and Rodrigo Abela who participated in a panel discussion about designing landscapes for cultural institutions. GGN was also honored to be Landscape Forms' Guest of Honor a the Landscape Architecture Foundation Millennium Magic Gala on the stage of the Pritzker Pavillion.
