Selina Yu-Han Chiu

GGN Selina Chiu

In her work as a landscape and urban designer, Selina Yu-Han Chiu is attuned to the interface of architecture and landscape. She strives to create urban public spaces that allow one to experience and engage with the landscape. She is especially interested in how large, complex urban projects are affected by a dynamic world economy, and the role that design can plan in shaping rapid, unpredictable change and growth.

Selina brings a global perspective having worked on projects in China, Colombia, and Tennessee, at design firms in Rotterdam, New York, Hong Kong, and Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Horticulture from National Taiwan University. She received her Master of Landscape Architecture and Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was awarded the Ian L. McHarg Prize—Penn’s highest honor for design excellence and ecological ideals.
