Peter’s introduction to landscape architecture was as a board member of a Philadelphia city park Friend’s Group. In his volunteer role, he was the liaison between the designer and the community, helping to develop a plan to accommodate the multiple activities that flourished in the park. As a result of this experience, Peter became attuned to the social and design mechanisms that quality public spaces ultimately rely upon for success. His interest in the dynamics of designed space and social contexts led to his receiving his Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Virginia in 2012. Peter currently serves on the Board of Space.City, an organization dedicated to the discussion of art, architecture, and urbanism.
Prior to joining GGN, Peter worked as a landscape designer in Philadelphia and Rougemont, Switzerland. He works fluidly between 3D modeling, hand-drawing, and design software to develop, articulate, and distill clear design intentions.
